Aquatis
Opened in 2017, Aquatis takes visitors on a journey along the great rivers and lakes of the world: from the Rhône and Lake Geneva to the Amazon, the Mekong and the lakes of Africa. The route covers 3,500 m² over two floors.
Its 46 aquariums and terrariums are home to around 10,000 fish and 100 reptiles and amphibians from 240 species — crocodiles, piranhas, giant catfish, turtles and colourful cichlids. Interactive displays explain the fragility of freshwater ecosystems.
